Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Game drive among Tarangire's elephant herds and baobabs. Overnight near Tarangire.

Day 2 - Tarangire to Lake Manyara

Morning drive to Lake Manyara for an afternoon game drive along the lake shore and groundwater forest, spotting tree-climbing lions and flamingos. Overnight near Karatu.

Day 3 - Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Drive via the Ngorongoro Highlands into the Serengeti, afternoon game drive in the Seronera area. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 4 - Full Day Serengeti National Park

Full day exploring the Serengeti's plains, kopjes and river systems — prime territory for lion, cheetah, and (seasonally) the Great Migration. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 5 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, then drive back to Arusha, arriving evening.
